Portfolio of Some of My Artwork (Portraits)

For the most part, my artwork takes the form of portraiture. (I reserve landscapes for my photography). There's something really fullfilling about looking at a photograph, or a paused video, of an individual, and reproducing it well enough on a canvas or other surface that someone else can recognize the subject. I've always felt that if you can copy a person's eyes into a portrait exactly as they appear in real life, you're going to be able to render a realistic image of that person.
